Is my video file content altered or compressed?

No. Unlike traditional video converters, this tool does not re-encode, compress, or alter the visual and audio streams of your video. The video quality remains exactly 100% original. The metadata atoms are targeted and cleared in-place in the binary container structure.

Are my video files uploaded to a server?

Smartphones automatically embed GPS coordinates into video files by default when location services are enabled for the camera app. This means every video you record could carry your exact recording location — including your home address if filmed indoors — without any visible indication in the file itself.

Does this tool work on videos recorded with a drone or action camera?

Yes. Drones and action cameras such as GoPro or DJI devices embed extensive metadata including GPS flight coordinates, altitude, camera gimbal angle, and device serial numbers. These are stored in standard MP4/MOV metadata atoms and will be fully cleared by the tool.
